At no time did I ever feel I was interviewing for a job- this was a 100% sales pitch to me, and it was obvious that the job was open to whoever would take it, regardless of experience or qualifications. This is basically a multi-level marketing company where you work for free until the company makes the money it needs, then you get a % of Sales over that. Everything is scripted, cookie cutter material, with a huge focus on rah-rah speeches and getting people to buy into the “culture” (a.k.a. Working like a donkey for the company’s benefit). There is money if you succeed, but all the risk and burden is on you.

Phone interview with numerous people. The did a succession of phone calls at different times. It was very informal. They tried to make it seem like they were being picky, but in the training class they had so many people that had zero experience. From pot dealers to stay at home moms, they hire anyone at all and wait for them to sign a few friends etc. It's a sales job NOT PUBLISHING AT ALL

Interview
It was the easiest interview ever, simply because I connected so perfectly with Ron Kolb, the founder. I felt like I was talking with an old friend. I don't know what it would have been like if we'd been terribly different. But for ME, it was an experience of connecting on one topic after another. He was insightful, straight forward, strategically minded, genuine and passionate about the business and the cause. Ron isn't about playing games - he's about hiring the right people to get the job done. If you're a good match, you're a good match. Both parties will know it.
