Self Storage Plus Property Manager interview questions

Had a standard interview on-site after applying OL recently. The guy I met with didn't give me his last name or business card and asked me several "by the book" questions to understand my past successes and performances with an employee right next to us. He robotically thanked me after each response I gave him(textbook manager-like style). I understood that customer service and how to handle situations was of utmost importance and where I excel so I answered in earnest. He asked if I had any questions, but I really got the impression he didn't really want me to. I found the air about him to be a bit arrogant and found it to be a bit off-putting , but I answered honestly and with confidence because of my experience. When I arrived and I asked for him by name he and another employee joked that he wasn't there...it was an odd introduction as I realized a minute later that he WAS in fact the person I asked for. It's a good thing I have a sense of humor, but I didn't think it was funny. My resume speaks for itself with experience, performance, and education so his biggest concern seemed to be customer service skills in which I really excel. He left me a VM later same day as he basically said as much when I was leaving. It was going into a weekend so I called back on that Monday. He first asked me how did I think it went which caught me off guard, but he proceeded to offer me the job verbally. I said oh thats great and then I simply asked for a summary of their benefits to be emailed to me as I was taking a large pay cut and wanted to weigh some things out. He stated he would try, but typically that information is given during on-boarding. I then said once I glanced at it he would hear from me as it was looking favorable for me to accept the position. Well, if you can believe this, I never heard from him again after I texted and left him a VM regarding the position. I find this to be SO unprofessional and SO disrespectful of me and my time. You couldn't do the right thing and provide the information or return a call even as a courtesy after a verbal offer was initiated? Ridiculous. What is so unusual about seeing a summary of benefits? Very suspect of him and Self Storage Plus. This person should NOT be interviewing, supervising, or representing the company in this manner. HR/Owner of Self Storage Plus should be made aware of his unprofessionalism. I am sure this experience was not just a one-off...he's a real wise guy. Do NOT apply, rent a unit, or work at any of these Self Storage Plus facilities in the DC Metro area because this is the kind of person they have making important decisions and representing their "customer service driven" brand while banking a salary--REALLY pitiful.
