I was interviewed by a supervisor and VP. Both seemed very unprepared for the interview and the supervisor that I would be working directly with seemed very unhappy. I think she was stressed out and unhappy with her job because while we waited for the VP I tried to make small talk with her and she made little comments about how she couldn’t do anything for the holidays because it’s too busy. She also started the interview by asking me “how do you handle conflict in the workplace”. Which I thought was really odd. Normally interviews start with, tell me about yourself, explain your experience, why do you want to work here, etc. She also didn’t crack a smile the entire interview. I definitely knew within the first few minutes that I was wasting my time and would turn down an offer even if the gave me one.
