Applied online, and was called in for an interview with 2 staff members in New Business, followed by an interview with the owner (Mr. Segura). In all the interview felt like a waste of time and an experiment on their part. They are a small organization with employees who are exclusively family/friends of the family, a point they make very clear to you and take pride in. They were not very welcoming or interested in seeing what an outside perspective with varied skillsets could bring or how it could add value, they were more interested in how close you fit the specific mold of what they were already doing- aka-someone just like them. They have no interest in hiring 'an outsider', they should just find another cousin to join the gang. I would not waste time applying here if you are looking for a meaningful long-term career in new business or international development. The owner was very pleasant, his wife floated in and out the interview, however, it felt more like a conversation going nowhere. They just seemed to be testing the waters to see if they should go outside of their usual comfort zone. What the employee review posted on glassdoor said seemed completely accurate.
