Application

Interview
I applied through Campus Recruitment. The level of difficulty varies upon the type of colleges. If from NIT/IIT's, the questions would be really good and vice-versa. Thus, providing different salaries according to the Status.
The Interview Process consisted of the following steps:
1. Online test on hackerrank.
The test consisted of some coding and some basics questions. The questions related to basics were easy but the coding questions were really difficult and even involved questions from Dynamic Programming.
2. One face to face interview (Technical + HR). Was asked about the questions in the online test, it's analysis and how would I rate it, followed by questions related to Projects and some Aptitude questions and their coding.
They got really impressed and took the HR round whilst taking the technical round. The HR round was normal.

Interview
A one-hour written test was held. 5-6 candidates were shortlisted for the interview.
There was only one round of 20-25 minutes face-to-face interview. The interview mainly focused on problem solving skills, technical expertise, questions from the resume.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly related to embedded systems.
Linux kernel system and architecture.
C/C++ questions not related to algorithms.
I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Securifi Embedded Systems (Hyderābād) in Aug 2013
Interview
Very comprehensive interview process with questions about several C/C++ concepts and 5 programming challenges involving understanding about statistics, graph theory and recursion.
The interviewer was helpful in understanding the question, but did not provide any hint in helping solve the questions she gave. She very often questioned the method I was following without offering information on whether it was correct or wrong and made notes.
I saw the interviewer write a note and pass it to the person sitting next to her who smiled and looked at me, that was a little disturbing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked to use Riemann Summation to solve the integral of a linear equation they gave me. After I solved it, they asked me to write a recursive function to solve the same Riemann Summation in C++.
