After applying, I received an email 3 days later regarding scheduling an interview at the store. Two days later, I received a call saying I was hired and was immediatley emailed paperwork to fill out electronically.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sears (Riverside, CA) in May 2011
Interview
I found the job posted online, then proceeded to apply on the company website. The process was fairly straightforward, with a small personality test at the end of the application. The website is setup so that one can schedule their own interview. I then went for an interview on the day I selected and spoke to the operations manager and the Merchandise lead, and then I was scheduled for an orientation meeting after I connected well with the hiring staff.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult question that was asked was when they asked me the most difficult part of a previous job I had and how I managed to work through it.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Sears (Chula Vista, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Overall was a very pleasant and friendly interview process. It was two interviews, they said it normally would be three, but the assistant store manager was available to interview about an hour after the first interview was done. First interview was very basic and told me the basics of the job. The second kind of asked me questions with customer experience and asked me a question about what the previous interviewer had ran by me (job roles etc.)

Interview
Interviewer was very friendly. Asked basic interview questions and I was offered the job at the end of the interview. I only met with one person but I was told that you typically interview separately with 2 people.
