I recently went through the complete interview process for the Cloud Engineer Associate role at Searce Inc.
The overall process was well-structured with three rounds — Technical, Analytical, and HR.
Each round tested different skills: technical knowledge, logical reasoning, and communication.
However, despite performing well and completing all the rounds (last HR round on 24th September 2025), I never received any official feedback or communication — even after multiple polite follow-ups.
Later, I was indirectly informed that I wasn’t selected due to “communication skills.”
While I completely respect the company’s decision, I strongly believe candidates deserve transparent and timely feedback instead of silence.
⚙️ Round 1 – Technical Discussion (Cloud, DevOps & Kubernetes)
Covered topics included:
Cloud & Networking: VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, EC2, and troubleshooting instance connectivity (e.g., Flask–MongoDB).
Containerization: Dockerfiles, persistent data in containers, Kubernetes objects (Pods, Deployments, Services, PV/PVC).
AWS Services: EKS, Lambda, and Fargate.
DevOps Tools: Jenkins pipelines, Terraform, and Ansible basics.
Linux Commands: System monitoring, port checking, and OS details.
👉 Difficulty: Moderate
👉 Feedback: Interviewer was professional and asked scenario-based and practical questions.
🧠 Round 2 – Logical & Analytical Thinking
This round focused on puzzles, reasoning, and analytical thinking.
Example questions:
The 8 Balls Puzzle (find the heavier ball in minimum tries).
100 Bags of Coins puzzle.
Man in a Well puzzle.
Bridge and Torch problem.
Guesstimates like “How many windows in Mumbai?”
This round mainly tested clarity of thought and structured problem-solving.
👉 Difficulty: High (requires logical approach, not formula)
👉 Feedback: A unique and engaging round that tests reasoning skills.
💬 Round 3 – HR Discussion
The HR round was mostly conversational and focused on personality fit.
Questions included:
Self-introduction
Education and internship (LinuxWorld Informatics Pvt. Ltd.)
Project explanation
Willingness to relocate
The HR was polite and friendly, but unfortunately, there was no follow-up or feedback after this round.
Even after several emails and calls, there was no confirmation of selection or rejection.
❤️ Final Thoughts
I genuinely respect Searce’s work in Cloud, AI, and digital transformation, and I understand that not every candidate can be selected.
However, I hope the company improves its candidate communication and feedback process — even a simple “not selected” email helps candidates move forward confidently instead of being left uncertain.
🕒 Transparency and timely communication reflect the same professionalism the company values.
