I received a call about an initial interview about a week and a half after applying for the position. The first person I interviewed with ended up being my direct supervisor and he really took the time to get to know me and listen to what I was looking for as a professional. My second interview was with the executive editor of the paper. He was very welcoming and easy to talk to. Again, he took the time to hear what I am looking for career-wise and gave me a great idea of the company culture and work flow. I felt very comfortable talking with him. Upon being hired, I felt I had the rapport with him to be comfortable asking him for help.
