I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Screwfix (Colchester, England) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied online and after two-three days they called me and ask to come for the interview.
On the Screwfix website they didn't tell anything about the stile and I choose smart casual dress code.
When I came they gave me a few minutes in a stuff room to relax (my advice, if you'll have the same opportunity, look around yourself, you'll find a lot of useful information about people who work there and your future job), then was an interview.
I spoke with two managers, they were highly professional and tried to relax me. Firstly, they describe future duties and some information about Screwfix and benefits, and only then asked questions. I found a lot of similar questions on this site, so read glassdoor before you'll go to the interview. After the interview they promised to call me if they'll accept me and send an email if not. In 5 days I have got a call.
Was very friendly, relatively typical interview questions, very informative about the next steps and they give you a chance to look around the warehouse and see if the job would fit you

Question 1
What was a time you was in a stressful or difficult situation at work and how did you deal with it
I interviewed at Screwfix (Hemel Hempstead, England)
Interview
Very scenario based questions. If you have experience then reflect on times where you had difficulty and how you dealt with those issue(s). If you haven't had experience then maybe speak about school or college.
Consisted of initial application with CV followed by one in-person interview where the interviewers asked general questions such as 'Could you name a time where you overcame a challenge?'. Overall, interview was fairly relaxed and I feel the verdict was based more on whether I would be a good fit with the team than my experiences.
