Scottish Prison Service interview questions

I applied online. The process took a few weeks. There are a few computer-based tests initially before an invite to an online interview on Teams. The interview lasted a full hour, and they ask a lot of questions which all align with the five competencies and values of Professional Development, Working with Others, Following Processes and Procedures, Influencing the Behaviours of Others, and Problem Solving. I heard back within an hour that I had been successful. You then need to arrange a medical and fitness test which takes place in Polmont.

It was fairly informal they ask lots of follow-up questions to make sure you are hitting all the competencies. The interview was via teams and they asked a lot of questions. They often cut me off when id answered enough even if i had more to say. They couldn't tell me how long it would take to find out if i got the job .
