I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2015
Interview
I applied for the Internal Audit Co-op and I had an interview with the director over the phone. The interview was fairly easy and basically went through my resume for the most part. Talked a little bit of current news, mainly the Greek debt crisis
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Scotiabank
Interview
Pretty straightforward. Interviewers were very nice and questions were mostly behavioural. Technical questions were not overly complex, and tested thought process and ability to think on the spot more than heavy technical knowledge.
The first round was Group coffee chat. It is in a group of 10-12 people. It is virtual. It is semi-formal round just to introduce each other and expalining the further rounds and how internship works in the company.
