      Personal Financial Representative Trainee Interview

      2 Jun 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Windsor, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Windsor, ON) in Apr 2010

      Interview

After applying online, HR calls you for a Screening interview, based on which they set you up for a psychometric test online, based on which they call for Behavioral questions type interview, after that they ask you to go to a main branch for a face to face interview with a panel consisting off 2 managers and one assistant manager and background check. I did not like how the interviewers handled the interview, it was obvious from their behavior that they were not serious, they fiddled a lot, they even did not ask for the background papers HR send me to fill, they came in and out of the interview room, and they forgot to follow up after they said they will call me in a couple of days, all this tells me a lot about scotialbank work place environment, I only recommend working for this bank in this position as a stepping stone in your career, the image that I was left with is the stories I hear from people working in a bad call center. On the contrary of that , HR Rep handled her job very well and I really give her 9/10.
