I applied online. I interviewed at Schrödinger (New York, NY) in Feb 2017
Interview
Applied and internal recruiter got back to me via e-mail immediately. Set up a google hangouts with one of their senior engineers. Engineer ambushed me with a code test by asking me to build a tictactoe game within an hour in jsfiddle using vanilla javascript. Was pretty condescending throughout the process: ie; (kept shaking their head and raising their eyebrows).
When I asked the interviewer how they come up with their interviewing questions, the response was literally, "It's really whatever we come up with at the moment."

Question 1
Build tictactoe in jsfiddle using vanilla JavaScript within an hour.
Very interactive interview sessions took place. Every round was clearly communicated considering the time i have to take out from my current job profile. Overall it was a good experience.
