Schoolzilla interview questions

I connected with Schoolzilla through someone in my network, and the VP of Impact promptly reached out and scheduled a phone screen. After a friendly conversation in which he shared more about the company and the role and got to know my interests and skills, I was invited to complete a take-home exercise to get a sense of how I would think through the kinds of challenges the Impact team helps its customers and partners solve. The take-home took a bit of time to complete, but both tasks were relevant to the role and helped me get a sense of the nature of the work and what it would take to be successful at Schoolzilla. Schoolzilla reviewed my exercise and got back to me within a week with an invitation to interview on site. I did not end up completing the process due to personal reasons, but I have nothing but good things to say about Schoolzilla and my experience interviewing there.

It was a casual conversation with the CTO. We talked over Skype and he asked me various questions about myself and my past experiences. Then he allowed me to answer any questions I had about the job. It took about 20 minutes and it was just a nice interview. It feels strange to add a question because nothing asked was super technical. It had to be rushed due to meeting a deadline on hiring, so it was very unplanned and a lot less involved than their usual interview process.
