2 stage interview process with HR only getting involved to discuss pay and benefits offer.
1. In person with Manager - Very friendly and informal. Some standard HR questions followed by 1on1 discussions.
2. On site with prospective team.- Meet and talk with all applicable people

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Schneider Electric (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Very informal with lots of back and forth about interests and skills. The HR was not involved for this positions interview, I was interviewed directly by the manager of the team. There was an initial interview followed by an on-site. No phone interviews. Very relaxed.
The second stage involved a more invested interview with the team manager, the senior engineer, two junior engineers and the head of project management.
More of a 'lets get to know you better' talk than an outright interview. If they think you know your topics and have the requisite skills, it shouldn't be too much of troublk
