Short phone interview followed by assessment center. Assessment center had a competency interview and a credit risk related basic maths test. The company told us they would contact people with a decision/feedback within a week, never happened. Its been over a month with no response/feedback. I was surprised at the lack of respect shown to candidates by a bank as reputable as Santander.

What do you think are the factors we look at when determining whether or not to give a person a loan?
The interview process is smooth, and the interviewers are friendly and knowledgable. It consists both the behavioral questions and tech questions based on your specific roles. There are three rounds in total.

Interview
The first round was with the hiring manager, and the other was with the department head.
Questions were about team-fitting, professional knowledge of risk management, and analytical thinking skills.
There was no round testing technical skills. In general, the process was quite fast, lasting only more than two weeks.
