Disappointing Lack of Communication After a Standard Interview Process I interviewed for a position with the San Jose Earthquakes and went through a fairly standard interview process: a first-round, second-round, and final-round interview. The interviews were professional, and the process seemed organized up until the end. After the final round, I was told I would receive a decision by the end of the week. However, two weeks went by, and I heard nothing. I followed up with an email, and unfortunately, still received no response. While I completely understand that companies may decide to go in a different direction, being ghosted after three rounds of interviews was both disappointing and unprofessional. Clear communication would have been appreciated, especially after investing so much time in the process.
