The interview process was about 3 rounds of interviewing. The first 2 interviews were with the hr recruiter. The 1st interview was like a temperature check to see how compatible you are to the organization. The 2nd interview was more job description related, understanding if you can do the job. The last interview was with the department who ultimately has the decision if you get hired. After the last interview they take time to decide and when hired they give you the details about the hiring process. Overall pretty common practice, nothing uncommon.
