Application
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics America (Mountain View, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied online and I was called by recruiter for phone screening setup, phone screening didn't involve any coding, just chat with my future manager about my resume and background. After this I was called onsite, where I met 3 engineers and my future manager. All the engineers were pretty professional. They were helpful too, providing necessary hints along the way. The interview process was great and I had a very positive experience. I was offer within a week after attending onsite interview.
and the questions were great too.

Interview
I applied for contract position via recruiter. The interview process was online over skype and code editor. The manager was very courteous and explained the process well. The engineer would do the technical round. I got a feeling that they were looking for specific skill set and expertise within Android stack like JNI.
