I arrived about 5-10 minutes early because I was unsure where the interview would be held. I asked the first staff member I saw, who didn't look busy, if they had information on where the interview would be conducted, and was directed to the cafe area. The staff member called the manager on their handheld device, and I was greeted by the team lead. They introduced themselves and gave me a rundown of personal shopper duties and expectations, and highlighted the KPIs. It was conversational and quite casual, which helped dissipate my anxiety. The team lead was essentially interviewing me as if I had already landed the job, giving me a demo of how to use the handheld devices, and explaining the metrics that are most important. I asked a few questions in between, nothing too insightful, but again, it was very casual and conversational. Then the actual manager stepped in to conduct the interview. Similar questions asked that are typical in most interviews, such as "What's your availability, "Tell me about yourself," My work experience, etc. I was given a job on the spot. Just smile, be open, and present yourself as eager to work.
