      Pump Operator Trainee Interview

      31 Jul 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Saltel Industries

      Interview

Walked in to their regional office and dropped off a resume. Week or two later got a call back for an interview. After the call I used what little time I had to research the basics of what they do. Interviewed the next day with three different people one at a time, thirty minutes each. They were all friendly and professional and asked harder questions than I experienced at other entry level interviews. The first gave me a good general intro. The second gave me a tour of the shop and asked me some pressure questions to see if I did my homework. The third told me more about the company and asked more about myself and my work ethic, attitude, etc. Two other candidates were interviewed on the same day and I got a call back later that evening with an offer. I started the next week and I am so happy with this job and the oppurtuniy to work with this new growing company that I wanted to give them a thumbs up on here.
