      Process Engineer Interview

      31 Jan 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sakti3

      Interview

Stuck in a room with about 5 other people. We were given a written test to make sure we weren't brain dead. CEO came in the room for a few minutes, asked us some questions, dropped a few F-bombs to sound "hip" and then left. We were pulled out one by one to meet with a few team members. I wasn't allowed to see the area I would be working in. Everything seemed very "secretive" and none of my questions were being answered. I wasn't told how many employees worked there, who they are selling batteries to (apparently nobody after doing research), what the typical work hours were, etc. I decided that it wouldn't be for me.

      Question 1

Do you work well in a high stress, micromanaged environment?

Thanks for coming for an interview and sorry it was not a fit. We appreciate the time people spend in checking the opportunity! We are fortunate to have a lot of bright people consider our jobs, so we're sorry if the form seemed too easy, or worse, patronizing. We've stopped using them, because we have found that we learn more just talking with people. As to being hip - we don't even try. We probably should have majored in something other than Engineering for that :) (no offense to all hip Engineers out there though). We do try to have as many people here meet people who interview, as possible. Thanks for your feedback, and we wish you the very best of luck with your job search!
