I applied online and waited a week. I proceeded to call the store every other day for a week or two, asking for the "hiring manager" and eventually speaking to her. I asked about the hiring process and she was informative. She said she would then call me back.
I waited 2 more weeks and got no call back so I drove to the store to meet thr manager face to face. She explained that she hadn't called me back because I was listed as unavailable on Saturday which is a "red flag in retail". Not returning my calls was a little unprofessional but I didnt take it personally and cpuld tell it qasnt personal. This is why I went in to the store. She was glad I came in and said an interview on Saturday would work.
I showed up promptly on Saturday in businessy attire and maintained my professional decorum. She seemed quite impressed and ultimately hired me as we were walking over to the interview room.
The interview was easy, predictable and lightweight. It wasnt even the determinant in whether I would be hired, so she said.
