Immediately after our first communication, I was pressured to schedule the interview for the next working day, despite my existing work commitments. The company insisted I take the technical interview during my lunch break, with a promise of a response within a week.
In the interview, I faced 4-5 interviewers, including HR, a developer, and a software architect. Despite being informed of my work pressures and fatigue, they proceeded with simple theoretical questions that seemed more academic than practical, that one could simply answer by googling on a second window during the interview. These questions did not challenge my technical skills as a senior developer, nor did they require actual coding, although I was able to respond with at least 80% accuracy.
The software architect, in particular, did not contribute positively, often making rude comments without adding value to the discussion.
Never heard back from them, not even an automated decline response while they should have provided a detailed reason for not making an offer based on the conditions of the specific interview.
I regretted spending my lunch break to waste my time with them.
Notice to those interested, be cautious.
