After reaching out several times on LinkedIn to recruiters and applying online, I finally got an initial HR screen. The HR screen was there for me to ask questions and consisted of mostly behavioral questions and questions about my interests/resume/background. I made it past this round to get another phone interview with a senior software developer. This interview was about 1h30 long and had a mix of behavioral/technical questions. A couple of Java algorithmic questions and questions about OOP, design patterns. After this round, I was scheduled for a final round interview with two pairs of staff software developers and senior developers. That interview was about 3 hours long and would have been on-site if it was not for me attending college away from Montreal. This was heavily focused on culture fit, questions about my past internships, background, resume questions, a couple of brain teasers and very few deeply technical questions. I was then told that I would get an offer but that the role I applied for had since been closed out for the start of the new year and that recruiting efforts were now focused on more senior roles. I accepted an offer elsewhere in the meantime.
