SRG interview questions

I had a recruiter call me month ago explaining how I’d be a good fit for their QA role that they were recruiting for. I was interested because I was looking to pivot to QA. The intial hesitation I had was the fact that they were happily advertising a role that pays MINIMUM WAGE, and he told me my experience in QA wouldn’t likely be sufficient to meet client expectations. I swallowed my pride and asked to move further in the process, and then then ghosted me? I called up the recruiter to confirm why there wasn’t an update in 3 weeks and he told me to be patient while he checks with them. It’s been 10 days now and I haven’t heard back. Ofc I’m not gonna reach out again but it’s such unprofessional behavior to treat someone like they’re not even good enough for minimum wage and then ghosting them. Just don’t reach out in the first place.

I spoke with 4 different recruiters for this position and had two weeks of back and forth with them to get any understanding of the position. They consistently dodged any questions about the job description, length of contract, pay, and benefits and gave me a big runaround trying to understand anything about the position. An interview with the client was scheduled and I was asked 3 separate times how soon I could accept an offer (before I even had the interview). Apparently "1-3 days" was not the correct answer and my interview was canceled since I did not immediately say that I would accept an offer within the day. I don't understand why I was passed through so many different recruiters for this position, why I kept getting the runaround about what the job entailed, and why the client canceled my interview for giving an incredibly reasonable amount of time to accept a hypothetical offer. This was a terrible experience going through this company and it speaks volumes to the staffing agency and client that they only want desperate candidates with no standards for employment.
