My interview experience with SGS consisted of three steps, but there were some positive and negative aspects to the process. Positive aspects: * The professionalism and expertise of the interviewers impressed me. * The thoughtful questions they asked to assess my skills and experience were appreciated. The process was as follows: 1. Apply online. 2. Phone screening with HR (20 mins): - However, the HR representative missed our scheduled meeting times. While I understand that scheduling can be challenging, this caused delays and impacted productivity. 3. On-site interview with 1 HR, 2 Lab supervisors (40-45 mins): - I encountered some logistical challenges that impacted my overall experience. Specifically, when I arrived 15 minutes early for my scheduled interview time, there was no one at reception to greet me, leaving me to wait in front of the building for several minutes. Fortunately, another worker noticed me waiting and kindly offered to let me into the building. This delay caused some stress and frustration on my end. While I understand that unexpected issues can arise, I hope that SGS can take steps to ensure that all interviewees are properly welcomed and guided to their interviews in a timely and efficient manner. Overall, I appreciated the opportunity to interview with SGS, but feel that improvements could be made in the logistical details of the process.
