substations with a variety of themes. themes were : secamb values and how you utilise them. breaking bad news. conflict resolution and a practical assessment - cardiac arrest. Well structured day. Only interviewed by paramedics. there was also a team building exercise and a fitness test.

Interview
Stage one was an online application form, covering past experience (CV) and competency based questions. The next stage was an interview made of 8 stations of MMIs (also competencies based) and then a computer based call listening/typing test, where you had to listen to sample calls and type responses to questions into a form.

stakeholder panel of about 8-10 people, held face to face and then panel interview of 3 people held face to face. It was onsite at one of the ambulance centres, this was in Banstead
