I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at SEA, Ltd. (Columbus, OH) in Feb 2016
Interview
Easy. All you have to do is ask questions about themselves. They will gladly tell you how cutting edge they are, despite their "meh" rep in the industry. I have been told to get everything they say in writing (they will promise you the farm just to get you to quit your job and start training with them) and not to sign the continued case support clause in the contract. Supposedly they demand that you, on your own dime, to continue working cases you were assigned.

I applied online. I interviewed at SEA, Ltd. (Columbus, OH) in Jun 2015
Interview
Had an initial call with HR rep. After that I had a phone interview with a manager and another engineer. Finally, I came onsite for a full day of interviews. During that day, I interviewed with 2-3 people at a time for an hour or so. Then they would leave and new 2-3 would come in. You don't have to worry about behavioral type questions. Most of them want to know about your background and how you feel about forensics work. Some of them just liked talking about themselves.
We appreciate the feedback and strive to improve our interview process year over year. Thank you for taking the time to provide an overview of your interview experience.
