I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at S&P Global in Jan 2015
Interview
it's a lengthy disorganized process Multiple rounds of both phone and in person interviews. While that is normal for a large organization, the scheduling is less than efficient. The process is for S&P interviewer to call you. Sometimes they called as scheduled, other times no call and having to reschedule. Very ineffective, when you have 2 or 3 phone interview per round
This holds true in most organizations, but S&P, like to hire from within. So, you can go 3 rounds, and you may just be there to validate a process
On-site interviews, met with multiple people, each time. Make sure you have all the names, as the person you are supposed to interview, may not be aware of the interview, or know who you are

I received a call back after applying online. The first round went smooth. The HR reached out to me for salary expectations before processing my application further. Although this role was advertised to have competitive salary it turned out to be the biggest cheapskate.
Post that conversation with HR, I never heard back on the feedback of the first round. The HR basically ghosted me.

The process is notably straightforward and lacks complexity, making it accessible for those who are well-prepared and have a solid understanding of their skill set. It is crucial to have a thorough preparation and a deep familiarity with one's own capabilities. Specifically, if the context involves technical requirements, it is imperative to have an in-depth knowledge of one's technical expertise. This preparation will not only smooth the process but also enhance one's ability to navigate through it with confidence and ease.
