I interviewed for the Associate Director, Data Visualisation & Reporting role at S&P Global. The initial stages were well-organized and the recruiter was friendly during the first call. However, after submitting a detailed assessment that required several hours of work, I received no communication for over six weeks despite multiple follow-ups.
When I finally received a response, it was a standard rejection email with no feedback or acknowledgment of the time invested. For a company that emphasizes integrity and partnership as core values, the lack of transparency and basic courtesy throughout the process was very disappointing.
Candidates invest significant effort and expertise into these assessments, and the least that should be expected is timely communication or constructive feedback. S&P Global has a strong brand, but the candidate experience in this case did not reflect that.
