Question 1
Skills/understanding of audiences from current (now past) role to transfer to this role
Very quick interview of around 6 minutes. Asked about my experiences and how I could contribute to the company, if I had any visible tattoos, if I had a velid visa or EU passport..
The recruitment process for the Gen AI Intern position at Ryanair Labs consisted of the following stages:
1. Application & Resume Review: Standard initial screening.
2. Technical Take-Home Assignment: I was given a practical coding task which required implementing a Model Context Protocol (MCP) layer.
3. Final Interview (May 5th): After my code was reviewed and accepted, I was invited to the final stage. Interestingly, this was not a technical code defense. It was a meeting with the Head of the Gen AI Department (or a similar leadership role). The conversation was entirely behavioral, focusing on soft skills, personality fit, and general approach to work.
4. Final Decision: I received the final outcome (rejection) via email a few weeks after the interview
