Applied online and had to complete some tests designed to see how well you would be able to sort postcodes etc. Once passed that stage, was called in for an interview at the local delivery office. One on one, very simple interview.

Interview
Interview is with manager or line manager, easy questions, don't panic! Takes about 15-30 mins max. It starts formal but can become informal after all the structured questions are finished. Ask as many questions about the job so you can get an idea what it entails, I've seen many people start and leave a week later.
