1) The first stage was a screening call with recruiting agent with HR and motivational questions
2) Followed a week later by a video call with the Head of Marketing Europe with questions on my background, skills and motivation. We had a very interesting chat about the company, the role and the challenges ahead. Questions were pertinent and interesting.
3) The next stage was a case study presentation about an entry strategy in a European market. This was in Rover offices in Berlin with 3 people interviewing and asking questions. 1h30 min total (15 min presentation, 45 min questions on my experience, motivation and personality and 30 min for my questions to them. ) Although I was anxious, the team managed to put me at ease and the questions were again really pertinent. Most importantly, the 3 team members in the interview were really open to answer the questions I had and gave me more valuable information about the role, the team and the company culture.
4) Last interview was a video call with team members from the Global Team in the US more centred around my Marketing background, skills and ability to make business decisions.
Overall, I had a very good experience during this interview process and thought the questions were always pertinent and adding to the conversation. Although I had quite a few interviews, not one question was the same.
The people I met were smart, friendly and approachable. I would have loved to be a part of this team, however, the recruitment process was put on hold due to an internal re-organisation.
