I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores in Jun 2014
Interview
Inquired about a job online and was given a call from the assistant manager a week later. I was invited to the store for an interview and sat in the main office with the assistant manager and the manager while being asked numerous questions. The atmosphere was comfortable and I found the interview to be laid back and lacking any stress.

Question 1
Basic questions about experience and views of customer service.
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
