I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Roscoe Stovall, Jr. & Associates
Interview
I was contacted after I posted a resume on a bar association website. The first contact included an email and a phone call. The position was represented as an attorney position, taking a portion of the firm's case load. My first interview was scheduled on a Saturday morning which lasted 4 hours. The second interview was scheduled so I could meet the firm's other partner. The other partner did not show up and I was forced to talk to the companies operations manager for another hour and a half. I was offered a job at point and I requested some time to think about it. A few days later I decided to accept the offer. At that point a third interview was set up with the other partner, who offered me the real position which was $8 an hour 40 hours a week working their front desk with a "possibility" as working as an attorney in 4-6 months. When I mentioned that $8 an hour is rather low for a licensed attorney Roscoe Stovall said "That is all you are worth. Actually you should pay us for the training you would get working in our firm." This firm does not have the resources to pay another attorney and is actively attempting to exploit the bad economy to obtain a highly qualified attorney for nothing.

Question 1
I was applying for a Criminal Defense position. The partner put me in a Wills and Trusts client intake and then left the room to explain the process to the potential client. It was both inappropriate for the interview process and rude to the client.
