After successfully gong through the online screening process, Rolls-Royce Plc invited me to go to Derby for the interview stage. It was a day-long and started early on in the morning, so Rolls-Royce offered to pay for my stay overnight. I had to prepare a short presentation about myself, briefly explaining projects I had been involved in and any positions of leadership. Once I was finished, I was asked questions to test my knowledge of Rolls-Royce. Next came the technical interview section which lasted about 1 hour and included questions regarding aerodynamics, structures, materials, propulsion and thermodynamics.
After this, the group of applicants which showed up were divided into two teams of 5 and given 50 mins to come up with a solution to a problem.
To conclude, we were given a mathematics aptitude test.
