first round online video conference, interviewer looks friendly, and no too tough question, everything went smoothly. Second round online coding test, was a bit nervous, got one question wrong at least. Never heard back from them any more.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rokos Capital Management (London, England) in Dec 2024
Interview
Coding test + IQ style test. After that, scheduled an entire half day of interview. Only had one interview before being rejected. Interviewer was not the best, kept asking "and how can you improve this code" without even leading to what he might want to answer about. At one stage I had suggested multithreading, and he said dont worry about that, and then later wanted that as an answer.
I got a chat with HR to submit my grades from high school from 20 years ago. Although my grades were perfect, I realized the process is absurd to check your mental state from that far past and I dropped the interviewing with the firm.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rokos Capital Management (London, England) in Sept 2022
Interview
A lot of different rounds. I was sent a pdf describing about 5 / rounds of interviews.
1st: timed algo questions (via a service like hackerank)
2nd: Elenkus test
3rd: Math test
4th: Personal interview (didn't get there)
Very bulky and robotic process overall. Not speaking to a human before the 4th rounds is just a joke for a senior position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None as never reached the stage where I spoke to an actual human after 3 rounds. Most pretentious company I ever applied to.
