There were many different steps involved in the interview process: -Online application (resume submission) -Task analysis (asked to answer a number of different questions) -1-1 phone interview -Interview with three network level staff members -Interview with two network level staff members -Offer letter! The entire interview process was warm, welcoming, and challenging (in a good way)! All of the RMP staff members I connected with showed a genuine desire to learn more about me and my experiences. They also showed a phenomenal level of dedication to our students. In my interactions with various staff members, I was challenged to think critically about my experiences and what I could bring to the position. In these conversations, I was provided with concrete feedback. For example, I took part in two mock coaching activities. In these activities, I received tangible feedback I could then apply the next day when working with teachers. I found the interview process to value feedback and self reflection. One thing that's good to know is that if you have any questions after an interview, it's worth reaching out to follow up with an HR team member. Both times I reached out, all of my questions were answered and I felt supported. I can't wait to join the RMP family!

Strange process. I applied online, after about 5 days I got a 2 line email asking me to do some tasks as the next step in the process, and to provide three references. Those tasks turned out to be two giant case studies that required either memos or powerpoint presentations. Given that I had not spoken to a single person at Rocky Mountain Prep, nor did I really know anything about the job beyond what was written in the online job description, I was a little surprised, but went forward. I spent multiple hours putting together reasonable responses to the case studies, given that I had no real context or ability to ask questions about the situations. I sent the materials in, and heard nothing (not even "we've received your stuff") for several days. Then, I got a form letter rejection notice. I found the whole process very de-humanizing, and clearly they did not value my time or interest in assessing the opportunity at all.
