I had a highly disappointing experience with Roche during the final stages of the hiring process. After eagerly accepting the offered position, I was blindsided by the abrupt withdrawal of the job offer just two weeks later.
Despite my attempts to seek clarity, I was initially refused by HR when I sought an explanation from them. Each time I tried to reach out to the Hiring Manager I was redirected to HR, creating a frustrating cycle where clarity seemed to be deliberately elusive. What was most disheartening was the lack of transparency and communication throughout this process.
Moreover, the fact that the Hiring Manager had no knowledge of the withdrawal decision raises questions about the lack of communication within the company.
It is evident that there were significant miscommunications and oversights within the company, leading to a lack of professionalism and clarity in their hiring processes.
As a candidate who invested time and effort in the interview/hiring process, I expected better treatment and respect for my candidacy.
I hope that they reevaluate their communication practices and transparency with candidates in the future to avoid similar experiences for others.
