Took an OA. Pretty difficult leetcode style questions and some games (Roblox games and psychology based games to determine personality traits). I did not get through the initial online assessment.

recruiter call and karat (online assessment) Roblox uses Karat, a third party interviewing company, to do the technical screenings for them so didn't get to talk to any engineer at the company. Karat allows you to do redos. I got far along into the second question in the first interview but didn't complete it. In my redo, only got the first question. I believe you need at least two questions right to pass. Thought the matrix problem (second problem in my first interview) was irrelevant to my role.

Question 1
- code a simple version of mahjong - write a function to return count of disappear elements in a mxn matrix (DFS) - given list of strings (word and freq count) and some constraints write a function to return dictionary of the ordered words and count
One standard hr phone call then one 60 min phone screen. Nothing out of the ordinary. Phone screen was done on codesignal where you could see code compile and run
Interview consisted of two leetcode style questions and two "games" that tested problem solving and optimization. Coding questions were of medium/hard difficulty. The games were difficult as the instructions given were terrible and unintuitive.
