1. Phone call with an internal recruiter. 2. Take home assignment where you are to write a suite of test cases and then automate those test cases against their application. Initially, I brushed them off after they sent me the take home assignment because it was a half day worth of effort. For exploring the application to creating a spread sheet of test cases to setting up my environment with the tools to automate. But, they kept insisting, emailing me every couple of days. But I finally did. After a week or so, I get an email stating that they are not moving forward. And they didn't have the decency to give me a feedback. I highly recommend to not waste your time interviewing with this company. If they want to gauge your skills, they can just look at your GitHub projects or go through a pair programming sessions or do some hacker rank challenge instead of having you waste almost an entire day with some BS project. I honestly think they are just trying to use candidates to get an automation project started and build of that project.
