Positives:
1. Recruiter was responsive through the process.
2. Engineering panel interviewers asked relevant questions, were interested in knowing my skills and experience.
Negative:
After positive feedback from 5 interviewers, I finally got scheduled with the Director after 7 weeks in the process. Director's first question was, "how did you get this interview, do you know anyone here?. Further, moving through other irrelevant questions, while talking about a cost reduction strategy they mentioned " Engineering wants us to work in that space, but its just more work for us when issues come up. This way (the current way) we can just put it all on the supplier without any responsibility".
This company is going nowhere people. Currently every employee is riding the wave till the money runs out. My suggestion to the CEO is to stop hiring lazy people at key positions just for the years of experience and fancy resume. You need people who are driven to make an impact.
