The overall process is very similar to others but the HR is extremely rude and impatient; Obviously didn't care about other people's time and effort VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Process: Phone interview with the HR, and then an interview with two associates from the company

The interview process at River Road was somewhat similar to other large Asset Managers. The first round was a screen with the firm's HR team, which was fairly straight forward: the firm is based in Louisville, KY and they wanted to ensure that candidates were interested in a possible relocation to Louisville before pushing them further along in the process for the role. After the HR call, I spoke to a tenured Portfolio Manager and both of the Co-CIO's before being given the opportunity for a "Super Day", which consisted of pitching the firm's entire investment committee a stock and fielding questions about my process and analysis. The team were extremely accommodative and thorough throughout the interview process - constantly keeping me up to date with where the process stood and what potential timing / next steps looked like. The firm has a fantastic culture, which was apparent from the start, despite the interview process being completely remote due to Covid-19.
