It's not always quick and easy to get hired. The job interview process can be lengthy. Being interviewed once and getting a job offer is typically a thing of the past. Today, many companies have an involved interview process starting with screening interviews, which often take place on the phone, followed by in-person interviews, second interviews, and even third interviews.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ritz-Carlton (Kuala Lumpur) in Dec 2015
Interview
There was 4 stages.
1. First impression stage with HR Manager. Asking about previous employment. Talk about what to expect in the company.
2. Second stage is with Departmental manager. Talk about the departmental tasks and roles.
3. Third stage is with Hotel Manager. Hotel Manager will double check and make final decision.
4. Fourthly would be the online multiple choice questions.

Interview
I went through 1 phone interview, a computer test and 3 in person interviews. It was a long process, taking about 3 to 4 weeks to complete. Then to be hired I was asked for a drug test and a background check.
