I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Rise Interactive (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2011
Interview
I applied by responding to an ad on Craiglist. A couple of days later I received an email from an HR representative asking for my availability to complete an one hour long skills assessment. We set up a time after a few email exchanges.
The exam was pretty straightforward - you have an hour to complete a test which includes basic algebra calculations, data analysis and drafting a letter welcoming a new client.
The day after the exam, I was told that the next step would be an in-person interview. I set up a time for this. I arrived to their offices right on schedule, and had to wait around 10 minutes for the recruiter to come out and greet me. The interview consisted mainly of me asking the recruiter questions about the company, with very little of her asking about my experience, skills or qualifications. She would occasionally chime in with additional details or simple follow up questions. But for the most part, I was driving the interview with my questions. The internal recruiter did not seem very interested as she kept checking her phone when alerts came in and yawning during the interview.
I was told that the next step would be to come in and meet the rest of the team. I did not hear back from them until over a week after the interview and what I received was a very nice rejection email. It was a bit off-putting as I was told that my assessment scores were very high.

Question 1
Cómo actuaría en una situación en la que tenga muchas tareas para realizar. Que priorizaría.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Rise Interactive (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2022
Interview
Had an HR interview followed a week later by two interviews with different hiring managers. All interviews seemed to go really well. It has now been literally 8 weeks since then…I have inquired several times about any updates, and instead of just saying “no sorry you didn’t get the job,” they keep saying “things are slow right now, we’ll update you when we know more.” Unbelievably unprofessional experience, I would never recommend anyone apply here. Never experienced this level of chaos and messiness. Really bad.
The interview was straightforward and professional. There were multiple steps in the process but nothing was out of the ordinary of what you should expect. I worked through someone on the talent team to manage my expectations.
