I had a phone screening with the web content manager at Riot Games. My initial impression was that he wasn't quite sure how to actually conduct a phone screening. After speaking with the manager for a bit it was revealed that the team is pretty new and that he only had his position for two months, which would explain the uncertainty I detected.
The questions I was asked seemed like they were taken ver batim from a generic interview guide; the questions were broadly specific and almost none were focused on the actual position or my relevant skills. In addition, I got the impression that they were critiquing applicants more on personality and less on skill--which makes some amount of sense, I guess. I mean, you wouldn't want a person who couldn't work on a team or who would not get along well with their co-workers, but this felt less like "is this person a team player" and more like "would we like the same music".
