Had previously applied to Riot Games for a different role a year ago but never got an invite for interview. Regardless, I applied to this role the other week. Much to my surprise, I got an invitation for Skype interview with their engineer a week later. The call consisted of the usual questions Riot Games asks you, "why did you choose Riot Games?, do you play League of Legends?, what's your favourite champion?, what level are you?" etc. After those questions, the interviewer went specific about my experience with programming languages, my thoughts about the job, and my customer service skills. A few of the later questions in the interview, took me off guard and were difficult to answer on the spot without been able to think about. This is when I think my interview started to fall apart. The interviewer ran out of questions to ask, so I asked him some questions in return for about 15 mins. The interviewer was confident at answering my questions but was a bit humourless in his responses. After the interview, I didn't feel confident of passing into the next round and it was confirmed a few days later.
