I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at RingCentral (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2015
Interview
Terrible process! Should have been a sign of just how dysfunctional this place is. Phone screen with recruiter with basic questions. Set face to face with Director. Arrived at office and waited almost 45 mins for someone to come into the room. Was just about to walk out when the Director came in. Asked basic questions and bragged about RingCentrals perceived greatness. Director left and brought in a Team Lead and SMB manager. Both of whom have no clue how to truly sell a complex IT solution. Was asked to come back and do a presentation. Came back and presented a complexed network which with my background in telecom and network sales I knew there would be no doubt in my abilities. The Director, VP, Team Lead and SMB manager attended. I could tell they had no clue what I was talking about. They had the nerve to try and ask me questions they thought would Trip me up. That was a mistake. Still they passed me through and made me an offer which I accepted but immediately regretted once I started the role and got a peek under the covers.
