I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Dayton, OH) in Aug 2018
Interview
What they did to me was criminal:
1- Online at home aptitude tests, then on-campus aptitude tests (passed both)
2- Interviewed with recruiter (positive experience, passed)
3- Interview with department manager (positive experience, passed)
4- Drive back, interview with head of department (positive experience, passed)
5- Drive back, 30 minute presentation for 10 person panel (positive experience, passed)
6- Interview with VP of marketing for Naked Lime (seemed to have went very well)
7- Drive back, meet with VP of Marketing for Reynold and Reynolds (seemed to have went well)
8- No word for 10 days, followed by a generic rejection email
I had to use 4 personal days of work to accomodate this antequated and treacherously inefficient hiring system.
The way the process is designed eliminated the possibility of quality candidates, because anyone with a serious job already wouldn’t be able to do it. I nearly lost my current job just trying to apply. I lost 4 personal days. The process took 5 days shy of a month before rejecting me. Clearly they find it beneficial to bring in people currently out of work or working part time in a dispensable position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview questions were basic and predictable. What made the interview difficult was not the questions, it’s the fish hook in your cheek while they drag you through murky waters.
3 Different rounds, in the final round, they were unfortunately very unfriendly and not passionate about their roles. Did not give me a good feel for their company culture or environment.

Question 1
Why should we hire you out of all of the hundreds of other applicants?
Multiple phases with an aptitude test and a personality test and fact to face rounds. Starts with HR manager, then regional director, then area vice president. You take the test again at the end.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (New York, NY) in May 2025
Interview
Interview process took three weeks, involved taking tests, additional emails, and about three rounds of interviews. On my third interview I joined a zoom call that the interviewers were unprofessional and not prepared. They did not care about getting to know me or any of my responses. It seemed as though they were just checking a box. I was told in the interview to dress business professional but both interviewers were wearing Polos. In my interview they explained that success in the role is based on what peers think of you.
Overall, they wasted my time when I was overqualified for the entry level position. Overall, I would stay away from this position if you have any professional expirence.
